In June 2007, Joann Petty, APN, CS, joined Dr. Michael Kahn, Dr. John Ayers, Dr. Linda Ferris and the staff at their Cancer Care and Hematology Specialists Winfield Office.

As an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist she provides specialized care and education to our patients and works closely with the physicians and nursing staff.

Joann received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from University of Illinois in Chicago

and her Masters Degree in Nursing from Loyola University of Chicago. She is certified in Advanced Oncology Nursing, Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing.

Joann is a member of the local and national chapters of the Oncology Nursing Society

and the national chapter of the Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing Association.

Joann’s entire nursing career has been dedicated to oncology nursing. She has held various positions in hospital, outpatient, homecare, and hospice settings.
