Dr. Linda Ferris grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. She received her medical degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed her internship and residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. In addition, she completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Ferris is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Ferris is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Research Society.

Dr. Ferris is married with three children and three step children. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, needlework, reading and fitness activities.
